Deathlok enters his computer's memories in order to talk with the previous Deathlok John Kelly. Kelly reveals that he was a solider who fought in Vietnam and after the war he had trouble readjusting to society. Desperate to get back to the battlefield he agrees to be Ryker's test subject for the Deathlok program. Deathlok heads over to Roxxon where he confronts Ryker over the whereabouts of his real body. Ryker agrees to give Deathlok his body back if he does a mission in Paris for him Deathlok agrees to the deal.
